Laboratory Environment
Our laboratory is located in Life Science Building A right off of Palm Walk on the Tempe campus. This space was renovated and opened in Oct. 2017 and consists of ~800 sqft of BSL2 research space, including a principal research area with a central bench workstation (30 linear feet), a secondary research/procedure room, and a microscope / cryostat / dark room. The main research space houses a sink, a fume hood, a refrigerator (4°C), a chromatography refrigerator (4°C), -20°C freezer, and is outfitted with gas / vacuum capabilities. It has three areas for desk / computer work. The secondary research room consists of a sink, a -80°C freezer, additional (10 linear feet) bench space for running experiments.
Below are some specific pieces of research equipment for experimental / collaborative pursuits.
